Omrix began at the intersection of two experiences: my professional journey in building consumer businesses and my personal experience of trying to understand my own skin.
Like many teenagers, I struggled with skin concerns and had very little clarity about what to do. I tried products that promised quick transformations, followed advice from magazines and experimented with routines without really understanding what my skin needed. Some products helped temporarily, many made little difference, and the constant stream of conflicting advice made it difficult to know what to trust.
That experience stayed with me, even as life moved in a completely different direction.
I went on to build a career across the consumer goods industry and the structured, fast-paced environment of a Big Four consulting firm. Over the years, I worked across strategy, marketing, consumer insight, innovation and category building.
This cross-functional experience shaped the way I think about products and brands. It taught me that a strong product cannot be built on marketing alone. It needs a clear consumer purpose, thoughtful development, commercial discipline and a genuine reason to exist.
I had always wanted to create products that could make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. I was not interested in building something simply because it followed a trend or filled another space in an already crowded market. I wanted to create something useful, something that respected the customer’s time, intelligence and expectations.
Skincare became that opportunity because the problem was both personal and widely shared.
When skincare became too complicated
As my career became more demanding, skincare gradually took a back seat. Corporate life has a way of prioritising everything that feels urgent, while personal routines are often postponed until there is more time.
At the same time, skincare itself seemed to be becoming increasingly complicated.
Ten-step routines, multiple active ingredients, layering rules, new formats and constantly changing recommendations made it difficult to understand what was genuinely necessary. I wanted to care for my skin, but I did not want skincare to become another demanding responsibility in an already busy day.
What I wanted was relatively simple: an effective, considered routine that could fit into real life.
So I began researching.
I explored ingredients, devices, treatment formats, delivery systems and the technologies changing the way skincare could be approached at home. I wanted to understand how modern innovation could help people care for their skin more intelligently, without requiring an unrealistic number of products or hours of effort.
The more I researched, the clearer the wider problem became.
People at different stages of life genuinely want to take better care of their skin but often feel overwhelmed by the growing number of actives, routines, devices and product claims available to them. They may be balancing studies, careers, businesses, families, social lives or simply the demands of everyday responsibilities.
The concerns may differ, from breakouts, congestion and post-acne marks to puffiness, dullness, uneven texture, sensitivity or visible signs of ageing—but the confusion is often the same.
The issue is not a lack of interest. It is a lack of clarity.
That realisation became the foundation of Omrix.
Simplified, but never simplistic
I created Omrix to make advanced skincare feel more focused, understandable and achievable.
But I was equally clear that simplicity should never come at the cost of innovation.
Skincare technology is evolving rapidly, and I did not want Omrix to stand on the sidelines of that progress. I wanted technological advancement to be thoughtfully integrated into our portfolio—not for novelty, but because it could help create more purposeful and convenient skincare experiences.
That is the principle Omrix is built around:
Skincare that is deliberately simplified, but never diluted.
Every Omrix product is developed around a relevant concern and a clear role within the routine, from deep cleansing, congestion and puffiness to breakouts, radiance, tone, texture and visible signs of ageing.
Technology must serve a purpose. Features must add practical value. Products must be intuitive enough to use consistently and considered enough to earn their place in someone’s life.
We are not here to add more noise to an already confusing category. We are here to make skincare feel more manageable while continuing to explore the possibilities offered by modern at-home skin technology.
Built for real lives
My professional experience gave me the tools to build Omrix with structure and discipline.
Strategy taught me to begin with a real problem rather than a product idea. Marketing taught me the importance of listening to consumers instead of simply telling them what they should want. Commercial thinking taught me to look beyond attractive concepts and ask whether something offers meaningful value. Portfolio and category development taught me that every product must have a distinct purpose and a reason to belong.
My personal skin journey helped shape the brand’s purpose, while broader consumer needs and research helped define the range of concerns Omrix would address.
I understand what it feels like to be unsure about which products to choose. I understand what it is like to be disappointed by promises that sound more convincing than the experience they deliver. And I understand how difficult it can be to maintain an elaborate routine when time and attention are already stretched.
Omrix is being created for people who want more from their skincare, but not necessarily more steps.
It is for someone looking for thoughtful solutions for concerns such as acne, congestion, deep cleansing, puffiness, dullness, uneven tone, texture or visible signs of ageing, without having to become an expert in every ingredient, technology or trend.
It is for people who value innovation but also need convenience, and for anyone who believes skincare should support their life rather than take it over.
What Omrix stands for
I want Omrix to be known for purposeful technology, relevant solutions and honest communication. We will continue to learn, research and evolve as skincare technology advances. We will introduce products carefully, with a clear understanding of the concern they are intended to support and the role they are designed to play.
Omrix is not defined by one age group, one skin concern or one stage of the skincare journey. It is being built to support adults with different needs, priorities and routines, whether they are beginning to take skincare more seriously or adapting their approach as their skin changes over time.
Our purpose remains the same: to reduce confusion, simplify routines and make advanced at-home skincare more accessible to people living full, demanding lives.
Omrix is the brand I once searched for—a brand that brings together technology, simplicity and thoughtful product design without asking people to reorganise their lives around skincare.
So I decided to build it.
This is only the beginning of the Omrix story, and I am glad to be sharing it with you.
